The P.A. Conference for Women was absolutely splendid. You could feel the love , power, and strength through out the Philadelphia Convention Center. The smiles, the warm embraces, the speeches, and the open hearts that shared stories and cherished moments with thousands of people paved the way for a powerful day here in the city of sisterly love. There were 100+ speakers . The keynote speakers were Tamala Edwards, Mrs.Jane Pauley, Jill Abramson, Candy Chang, Monica Malpass, Linda Cliatt-Wayman, Diane Keaton, Tory Johnson, and Robin Roberts. Guest speakers including Stephanie Humphrey "TechLife Steph" , Ms.Loraine Ballard Morrill, Emma Johnson, Susan Tabor- Kleiman, Tina Wells, Beth Rubino, Andrea Ramsey, and Lauren Mailian Bias. The day consisted of various sessions that uplifted, moved, and informed the women and girls on ways to change their financial situation, being brave, using their time wisely, how to market oneself, live a healthy lifestyle, maintain and pursue education/ career, informative ways on how to use technology and social networks, style in the work place, and how important your story and life is. In Diane Keaton's speech she said "you gotta have balls" , the room was full of laughter after that quote and by that she means you have to be super tough to make it in the world . Tory Johnson interviewed Robin Roberts. At the the end of the interview Tory Johnson had everyone stand up as she recorded a video of Robin Roberts and all the women in the convention center in Hall B screaming "Everybody's Got Something" which is the title of Robin Robert's book. The speeches were beyond touching and educating. There were also tons of exhibitors at the conference including Dress For Success, Partyhasher,Whole Foods Market, Polish The Nest, QVC, Cradles To Crayons, Rizzieri Salon/Spa , Mary Kay, Pearls With Purpose, Mainline Models, and numerous others.
