He danced and displayed stylish pieces with his quick changes for his set. As the show continued it didn't feel like our average concert from the DJ, to Lady B, to the audience just celebrating together, it felt more like a reunion. We all were celebrating. If you looked around , everyone was enjoying themselves. It was a giant party before the after-party. The lights dropped and it was time for New Edition. Can you believe that it's been forty years of New Edition ? The Hollywood Walk of Famers and Lifetime Achievement Award Winners Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, and Johnny Gill were live and in living color. They hit the stage and pure joy erupted at Boardwalk Hall. There were people with tears in their eyes as if they were seeing NE for the first time, people were doing their one and only signature dance moves. New Edition put on a indelible show. Raw energy, pure love, intelligence, realness, and gifted are just a few words that come to mind when you hear Iatia Love speak. A few weeks ago I saw Iatia Love rapping and filming a video. I wanted to know who he was. I introduced myself and he informed me he was shooting a freestyle video and gave me his Instagram @IatiaLove . I've been tuned into his grind ever since. His versatility and vivacity is tangible. Take the time to listen to his words and you'll hear his real and consistent message of love, his passionate spirit, and truthfulness . To sum it up he's on his Philly jawn you know thorough s***. Iatia is for sure an artist to keep your eyes on. His new project has no features, just hot story telling verses. His versatility is straight forward on songs like Illegal, Double Doors, Jermaine , and Fke Smilez . Whoa, DreamTeam 1& 2, Realside, spurs explosive amounts of motivation and drive. "One Night" has a stimulating smooth poetic vibe. Then there's track 10, #FreeLove and the title speaks for itself. So check out our interview below, watch the FreeLove documentary, and download and share #FreeLove.
When did music become apart of you ? Iatia : Thanks for having me...The beginning. I was always drawn to music. My Grandmom used to play oldies that honestly used to get on my nerves, but later on I'd grow to realize the music I loved in rap came from sampling those songs. Then I grew a respect for all music. How did it feel the first time you stepped in the studio? Iatia: Accomplished. I just wanted more. I wanted to do more. I was instantly hooked. I didn't like my voice though. I felt like it wasn't distinctive or strong enough. I have a whole different voice today, though. You live a vegan lifestyle. If hip hop was a vegan dish, what would it be and why? Iatia: A big chaotic platter with random things everywhere on a big plate. Not neat. No method to the placement. Just the most streamed plate on the planet. In your "Free Love " documentary you discussed wanting to make healing music, being conscious, and a gospel rapper. What does all this mean to you? Iatia: I wanted to simplify my message as much as possible. Break it down like a fraction. At one time, I made music to be the best at making music. Now, I make music from the core of my being, for people who I think should hear it. It may look, or feel one way but look deeper. Feel deeper. It's a message in everything I touch. Listen to "RealSide" from #FREELOVE. I break it all down. You give credit to God for your gift. A lot of people don't do that. What does your connection with God mean to you ? Iatia : If it wasn't for Source, I'd have no opportunity to be who I Am. I Am just a vessel. I'm Holy. God Lives and speaks through me. I'm a tool for The Creator. This powerful line "Don't run from your black, Overstand your image under attack". That bar might go over a lot of people's heads. What do you want the listeners to get from that? Iatia: I tend to like things that are original. Things that are true to what the nature of said thing is. I don't want to see a tree attempt to be a dog. If your hair grows in tight spirals, and you want to straighten it, cool. Just know what it is. Do it because you think it's dope. Don't do things to fit societal norms, or what's fed to you as the "it" look. One thing about what's "it" is "it" changes constantly. The hot body type from the 60's is not the same as the 70's. 70's not like the 80's and so on. I'm seeing some of these less melanated women taking on every black feature, except skin tone. Congrats on your release of your "Free Love" project and having your release event. What do you want the world to get from your message ? Iatia : I want them to know who they are. Creators. I want them to know that we all have trials, and they are made to define you, not break you. I want them to connect with source and find the Oneness. Everything is Everything. Don't hide. Take it in stride. You give back to the community and make sure young men have school supplies. How can people help? Iatia: Join #teamLOVE aka 1Nation. The easiest way to support the children and community is to support the music and merch from IAtIA LoVE. This is not a business tactic. It just all ties in. What I get, I give. One day, I will have enough to have a big conference, invite press and donate the big check. Until then, I give as I get, with Love. Which one of your songs mean the most to you ? Iatia: Different ones in different ways. I'd say "RealSide" is the one record I'd play for a complete stranger who wanted to know what I'm about. With "Double Doors", the original lyrics, I cried writing. Almost cried laying it. If you listen closely, you can hear it. Name three things that represent the "RealSide" to you ? Iatia : The RealSide is the projects across america. The RealSide is the people who do more with less, and create things that'll change the world, like Hip-Hop. The RealSide is that feeling you get when you do something that agrees with who you are, wholly. Thanks Again.
I attended his release event in Philly at Inkster on November 25,2017. All the Kreatives came out to support. Iatia performed different tracks from his new project. Everyone networked and had a good time partying and enjoying #FreeLove !

"Never Give Up" Cardi B ft Josh X
"I see the pain in your eyes
And truth is, only the strong survive And you still here, so from here you only gon' rise Spread them wings so they can tell you how far you gonna fly " Cardi B is telling her fans to not give up even through challenges. Cardi didn't have it easy growing up and she's not shy about it. She talks about her come up and how even though things get hard you can't quit. She didn't give up. She doesn't want you to either. "Bronx Season"
Not to mention, I did my tour and that shit was winnin' Independent, the headline, award of feelin' I thank the Lord every blessings that he is given I love the fans, they fill me up with their ammunition Cardi always takes time to thank her fans because they support her . She's BX at heart foreva . The beauty is proving people wrong. She's showing that despite her past you can make it . Some people took Cardi's music as a joke that she wasn't serious about it. However, she is and she's focusing on releasing her album and letting more people see her as an artist. "Everything"
Like I'm worried 'bout my father stop cab driving
Before he turn sixty, and my mom stop being a cashier before she fifty like That's why I'm working so hard out here That's why I go so hard Not for me, but for them though You feel me? If you watch Cardi's videos she always lets you know how much she loves her family. On this song she expresses how she wanted to make it so her parents didn't have to work and her sister Hennessy could go to school and follow her passions. She wants to do everything and keep going hard for her family. "Selfish"
Be selfish, be selfish, be selfish Withering away as I gaze at the sky looking at his face and all the pain it's caused me
I ask why Didn't I love Didn't I give you more than I ever gave myself What do you wish cause that part of me no longer exist This time I'm first, I'm picking me I finally learned to be selfish Cardi has a lot of popping songs, some for you to dance to , some to get you moving , and some you can vibe out to. This song "Selfish" is about not letting a guy take advantage of you, your emotions or time. Cardi is expressing sometimes you have to be selfish with yourself and put you first. Cardi is right!
You know Cardi B loves her nails on fleek ! So if Cardi B comes out with a nail polish line these are some of the names I thought of ! Big Ups to Cardi B ! Stay tuned for her album .

Daymond John is a a business mogul and a man with a plan. Throughout the years Daymond has successfully execute multiple ways to make money and change the business world. From working in his teen years to building his brand FUBU to inspiring and giving life changing opportunities to entrepreneurs. You can learn a lot from Daymond and his message. He wants you to be inspired, increase your income, and make a difference in yourself and others. I remember having my first pair of Fubu boots in elementary school, they were denim and yellow. I liked them, they were different and comfortable.
Never did I think I'd be seeing the Fubu creator live in person at the Get Motivated Summit in my city, Philadelphia. To recently being selected to be apart of his Rise And Grind Ambassador program. Things really do come full circle. I plan to learn as much as I can and do more to follow my dreams. Daymond's success despite hardships it's motivating. His new book "Rise And Grind" releases January 23, 2017. New York Times bestselling author of The Power of Broke and "Shark" on ABC's hit show Shark Tank explores how grit, persistence, and good old fashioned hard work are the backbone of every successful business and individual, and inspires readers to Rise & Grind their way the top. It might be convenient to believe that you can short-cut your way to the top, but the truth is that if you want to get and stay ahead, you need to put in the work. You need to out-think, out-hustle, out-perform everyone around you. You've got to 'rise and grind' every day. In the anticipated follow-up to the bestselling The Power of Broke, Daymond takes an up-close look at the hard-charging routines and winning secrets of individuals who have risen to the challenges in their lives and grinded their way to the very tops of their fields. Along the way, he also reveals how grit and persistence both helped him overcome the obstacles he has faced in life, and ultimately fueled his success. Pre- order ( here) If you've signed up for Daymon John's emails , you've probably received this message about regret, Do you have any regrets? I get asked this question often and it’s an important one. My answer is yes. I do have one regret in my life and it’s never having served my country. It’s true – that is my one big regret. Regret can be a funny thing. Many people dwell heavily on their regrets and aren’t sure how to move forward. They are paralyzed by “what could have been” or “what should have been”. I’ve learned, though, to always channel those thoughts into actions. What can I do today? For me, it’s all about how I can serve, support and empower those I interact with daily – whether it’s on Shark Tank, in meetings, at conferences or on social media. I may have never served my country as a member of the military, but I focus on doing everything I can to serve the communities I touch, near and far, by spreading the power of entrepreneurship. Now, I know being on a TV show in no way puts me on the same level as someone who has put their life on the line to protect their country. I’d have to be crazy to make that kind of comparison! But, I’ve recognized the unique platform and opportunity I have to make a difference and do my part. Through my consulting, speaking, books and curriculums, I’ve made it my mission to share advice, tools and resources to help all the aspiring entrepreneurs out there achieve their goals. Sometimes life has a funny way of coming full circle, though. This summer, I teamed up with two organizations that do amazing work for veterans and active duty members, Bob Evans Farms and The Mission Continues. We kicked off the first ever Heroes to CEO’s contest and just this past month awarded 3 veteran entrepreneurs with a $25,000 grant. I also had the chance to sit down with each of them for a one-on- one mentoring session. I loved talking with these entrepreneurs. I think I learned just as much from these guys as they learned from me. They have unbelievable dedication and drive and they owe that to their time in the military. Why am I sharing this with you, though? Today, I get to spend my time mentoring up-and- coming entrepreneurs and even supporting those who have dedicated themselves to our country. I owe a lot of that to the fact that I have never let regret hold me back. I learn from it and channeled those thoughts into action. I may regret that I never served my country, but I have turned that regret into an opportunity to do my part and give back. As we head into November, I challenge you to take the time to acknowledge and learn from any regrets you may have. Let them drive you to rise and grind, to work harder than you did yesterday, and to support others along the way. Have a great rest of your week and as always, think big. DJ www.daymondjohn.com
