The first time I heard that fire track "First Time" by Elliott Trent in 2015 , I was randomly scrolling through YouTube and instantly became intrigued by his vocals and song lyrics. The track currently has over one million plays on YouTube. So for this week's edition of The Mogul Minute #GetTurntTuezdayz let's head to Columbus, Ohio. Elliott Trent is a producer, singer, songwriter, and engineer. His project "Apollo" gained a lot of attention on social media as well as his single track releases on Soundcloud. Elliott just released his latest track "Passcode" yesterday. Elliott is young and he definitely deserves this spot on The Mogul Minute #GetTurntTuezdayz . Check out his music below and don't forget to follow him on social media.

E still cruisin , ruisin down the street in my 64 - Eazy -E
As of today it's been 21 years since Eazy-E, one of hip hop's most cherished artist passed away on March 26, 1995. Eazy-E is memorable staple in the history of hip hop. He was a member of N.W.A ( Niggaz With Attitude) which was one of the biggest hip hop rap groups to date. Eazy-E represented his birth place Compton, California proudly . Its 2016 and Eazy-E music and story is still cruisin through the street. His daughter Erin (Ebie) "Her fathers twin" released the "Making of Eazy-E Hologram Part 1" on this 21st anniversary of death. The making consist of behind the scenes footage of Ebie participating in the making of her father's hologram for the for the 2013 Rock The Bells concert featuring a performance from him and Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony. Ebie's goal is to shine light on the true story of her legendary father, show exactly what he stood for and believed, and what kind of man he was. Ebie is also an artist and designer. The hologram was created at Guerilla Union Office ( this company puts on the Rock The Bells concert) and used Ebie's face and movements to actually create the hologram . Part 2 will be released soon but you have to stay tuned to her Twitter @WeWantEbie and The Mogul Minute for part two. I Know Eazy-E has to be proud of his daughter and his other children for continuing to let the world know how Eazy Duz It. THE MOGUL MINUTE : LOVE MEANS EVERYTHING ! On this first edition of The Mogul Minute : #GetTurntTuezdayz I'm bringing the world to my city , of Philadelphia . Philly artist Rasheed Jones known as 'Prospect Sheed" has been on the come up and he's set to release his debut project "Live From The Ave" soon. His latest song/video featuring 'TJay The Poet" produced by CannonWitTheBeats is trill, flossy, and it's a hip record for the streets. The song is catchy and it's a fun crunk fly record that makes you realize you can't count any one out. The grind is continuous therefore you have to stay tuned because you never know when that switch up is going to happen. I really like this record and the video shot by DejBey215 . I think this is a dope solid collaboration that you should definitely rock with. To stay up on what these two artist are doing follow them on Twitter @ProspectSheed_ and @TJThePoet . Don't sleep on them and definitely don't count them out! Believe that!

LESSON 1 : LOVE YOUR WORK AND YOURSELF![]()
"The main thing being in this business you can't lose your sense of self and stay grounded and have fun doing what you love". - Aaliyah
There are different points in our lives and career where our work ethic is so strong but our relationship with ourselves isn't up to par. During an interview with Liza Broome on BET's show "ALL" Aaliyah expressed how important this is. We all have to definitely stay somewhat level headed and humbled in this business and in our lives in general. You definitely have to accept whom you are and embrace it and at the same time love your work and yourself. It's always fun when your job and dream is something you love to do. LESSON 2 : ONCE YOU FIND OUT WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO IN LIFE, GO FOR IT !![]()
"My first school play I did Annie that was in first grade , I was six years old. That's really when I realized this was something I wanted to do. I wanted to entertain people. I had one line , I was an orphan but that's when I really realized this was something I wanted to make a career . I know this sounds young but I got into it professionally when I was nine. - Aaliyah
I agree. I think it's so important that once we realize what we want to achieve in life we stick to it. Some talents such as Aaliyah know at a young age what they want to do in life and others discover it later. However once you discover it, you have to stick with it and remember not to give up. This song in this interview is "Journey to the Past" from the 1997 20th Century Fox animated film "Anastasia" (I loved this movie and song by the way). The song expresses not giving up and being brave . Aaliyah knew what she wanted to do with her life and career at six years old and was dedicated to making her dream happen. When did you find out what you want to do ? Are you still trying to figure it out? If so just remember that when you really focus and find out what you want to do go for it! Be brave! LESSON 3 : BE ORIGINAL![]()
My main focus is to stay true to myself and stay true to my style. I've always been one that's very adamant about being original and being unique. I stay up on what's going on in music , what's hot and all that but I won't let things influence me to stray from what I want to do -Aaliyah
In this interview Aaliyah discusses having creative control, having what she wants, and being 100% herself. That's so important. These days with social media and so many trends we tend to get caught in the fads instead of being different. It's okay to stand out and be original and unique. Aaliyah's set a bar with her style. She did her own thing and that's what made her special. This is definitely a lesson we all should value. It's not just about clothes , in every aspect of our lives we should try to have some uniqueness and originality about it. LESSON 4 : BE HAPPY AND BE THANKFUL FOR YOUR BLESSINGS![]()
"I definitely can say I'm a happy young person there's so much more I want to do in my career and I'm going to work hard to do and to achieve it's beyond words, I can't even say. Everything is worth it the hard work, the times when your tired, the time when you're a bit sad. In the end it's all worth it because it really makes me happy and I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world . I ve got good friends, I've got a beautiful family, and I've got a career . I'm truly blessed and I thank God for his blessings every single chance I get " .
Being happy all across the bored is wonderful feeling. To just enjoy being happy is an amazing way to be. Work, family, friends and relationships can sometimes distract us from being happy but that's when we need to sit and re - evaluate some things. Achieving our goals is awesome but if our happiness isn't there than what does it all mean? These words from Aaliyah are so relevant and powerful because we have days when we're sad, stressed, and tired but we have to push through it and remember that one day everything will be the way we want to it to be as long as we continue to keep going and not stop. We also tend to want so much instead of being thankful for the blessings God has already given us. So being happy and being thankful for your blessings is a must. Loving our family and having good friends is so important. Its okay to go hard by ourselves but having a support system is love is also something to be thankful for. LESSON 5 : EMBRACE YOUR MYSTERY![]()
"I'm a very mysterious person. I don't think you even know where I'm coming from. It takes a while to get to know me because I take my time to get to know people. So you'll get someone who's affable who's nice but you're not going to get the whole picture of Aaliyah for a while"- Aaliyah
In a world of social media, selfies, and so many streaming apps privacy has become minuscule. Everyone is either taking pictures or recording or posting how they feel on social media ( that's okay I do it too) . However it's important to have some mystery about you. You can't just let everyone in on everything. It's okay to a private life although social media and paparazzi has changed that. You can have some things that you hold dear that you don't have to share with everyone. As Aaliyah said "It'll be a while before they get the whole picture of Aaliyah". You should think the same. Have a sense of solitude and privacy where you exist first and then decide if you want to share it with others. Embrace your mystery We Miss You Aaliyah R.I.P
