The LG G4 is the newest phone by LG. The LG G4 Preview Tour landed in Philly for a special preview of the phone. I've had a good experience with the LG G3 , so of course I had to see what the new LG G4 was all about. It was a beautiful day in the city and the T- Mobile/ LG Tour Bus drew fans from all over. Everyone stopped to see what was going on , sign up for the LG G4 , and test out the phone. As I stood at the Tour Bus with the LG/T-Mobile promo team I viewed the LG G4 and noticed how sharp the features are as well as it's sound. I also love the special leather casing on the phone which is exclusive to T-Mobile (You can order the LG G4 (here)) . If you are an avid photographer or you just love snapping pictures and selfies, you'll absolutely get pumped about it's multiple incredible camera features. So round of applause for LG and T-Mobile CEO John Legere for bringing such a cool phone to T- Mobile . For updates on T- Mobile stay tuned to www.t-mobile.com .

As he continues to record, perform , and build his brand iRunPhilly he is determined to win the belt and earn the title of a champion. Although Velocity is working hard in the studio and his brand i Run Philly he made some time to answer a few questions for The Mogul Minute . Check it out below.

Velocity : The struggle , my life, and mistakes I've made. I learned a lot of lessons and I'm grateful for them. 3) The Mogul Girl : How has Philadelphia motivated you? Velocity : it Has motivated me in a lot of ways . I've dealt with the good and bad but it taught me survival. I learned to adapt to my environment . Philly taught me to have tough skin, be self motivated, don't depend on anyone and appreciate everything. 4) The Mogul Girl : What are you working on at the moment ? Velocity : My mixtape "Persistance " is dropping very soon on all hip hop sites. I'm shooting 3 new videos. Frenchie BSM of BrickSquad and I are working on a situation (possibly me signing) . Velocity : When I was 11 my uncle signed his son and I up for boxing. After months of training my trainer let me spar one day. I had a vicious jab . Do you know that the first word on 2014 Forest Hills Drive , album by J.Cole is "DO" and the very last word on the album is "LOVE". Deep when you think about it. J.Cole has always spoke openly about serious issues in communities , his personal life, and the world through his music, interviews, videos , as well as on stage. He doesn't just talk about helping , he's helped. He's gone to Ferguson, marched, touched teens lives through "Dreamville" Records, and more. Song after song from J.Cole contains a special message that may go over a lot of people's head. J.Cole is not afraid to high light what's important and what's really happening in the world and that's what I love about him. (I am forever thankful for my friend Davon Gaskins who put me on J.Cole and made me a true admirer of his music). The fact that the "DO" is the first thing J.Cole says on the album is powerful because action is power. The more we do the more that happens. There's always a cause and effect. So the more goodness we do in our communities , schools, homes, families, relationships and most of all ourselves we will start to gain good results. Its also important for us to do great things together. Just think of the transformation that would happen because we put aside differences to be one. J.Cole has also discussed racism in his music and that alone has destroyed lives for years. No matter what color you are , you are a human being and you deserve to be treated as so. If we joined one another regardless of skin color just think of what that would "DO" in the world. Lives would change, the violence would stop, poverty wouldn't be at an all time high. Thinking is definitely something we all should do . Tupac said it "We need more thinkers".
The last word on the album is "LOVE". Love is everything. Love is all that matters. It's a feeling, it's a lifestyle, it's a action, love is everything. You truly have to learn to love life through the good and the bad. Love God and most of all note to self, love yourz. LOVE is something to we all can DO. A lot of drama, pain , and suffering could end if people extended their heart. You don't have to be super rich to give your heart. Last time I checked smiles and words of encouragement are free. Sharing your story, mentoring the youth, helping someone out are all ways to spread love. If you have family be thankful! If you have what you need in life be thankful. The key is to love God, love ourselves, and love another and the world can change for the better. J.Cole is currently on tour, you can get tickets (here). One love! 2014 Forest Hills Drive Album (Here) www.dreamville.com World Stop and watch the Queens do their thang in their "Feeling Myself" video. I know I'm not the only one (Sam Smith voice) that has been playing this video non stop since it release on TIDAL today. I think we all are feeling ourselves right now doing the bounce dance to this video. Nicki and Beyonce are movements by themselves but together they burn it up. Not only is the video sexy but its so fun. I could so go for a burger and fries at the moment , nevermind I could always go for a burger and fries. This video is super dope and I love it. Maybe we'll get an collaborative album one day (crosses fingers and wishes on a star). They def should be feeling themselves , they deserve to after all the hard work they put in.
Its official The Young O.G Fabolous has turned Fridays into Fry Days because he is firing up beats like Chef Guy in the kitchen. Fabolous is definitely one of the illest rappers. He stays with hotlines, metaphors, and his lingo is just overall fabulous with an O. His Young O.G Project is definitely a must have . If you don't have it, you are definitely sleeping on a great project. Friday after Friday Fab has constantly blessed us with dope freestyles . As Fab said "Eagles don't fly with pigeons , they way higher . All wings flap but you gotta stay flyer". He is for sure flying high and frying up these Fry-days.
Young O.G Project (Here) (Here) Kevin Boyce 22, of Philadelphia is the perfect guy to kick off the Mr.X section of The Mogul Minute for 2015. I met Kevin at T-Mobile and indeed he is absolutely one of the best salesmen I have ever met. He is so personable, informed, and and has a great smile. In fact I made multiple phone purchases from him. T-Mobile should definitely send him a reward A.S.A.P! Kevin cherishes his Italian and Irish roots . When Kevin isn't working at T-Mobile he is focusing on his music career as a rap artist and starting his own record label. Kevin definitely deserves a spot as Mr.X for being an X-excellent salesmen, X- extra special personality, and X-extra dedicated to all that he does. So check out his interview with The Mogul Minute below. Congratulations Kevin on being the first "The Mogul Minute Mr.X" of 2015. 1.) The Mogul Girl : What are some things that inspire you? Kevin : I have always been inspired by my mom. She taught me so much. She always maintained strong through hard family times. My mom was always a go getter and worked to support the family. Growing up with just one parent she always held it down and made sure we had everything we needed from a young age until now. She definitely pushes me to be the best I can be in everything I do and not take any short cuts. She is the definition of dedication and that’s why I named my music label after her (DEDICATION). Everything I do is for my mom because she always made sure we were first and she was last but this time around now that I’m grown it is all about her. 2.) The Mogul Girl : Growing up what was your favorite show to watch? Kevin : Growing up I was a huge Sports-Center fan. Each morning I’d wake up, it would be the first thing on. I mean it would be on before church, school, and before I went to work. It was so bad I felt like if I didn’t watch my sports center updates I wouldn’t be able to go out and enjoy my day. I always had to know what teams won the previous night and what players had great games. I’m just a sports junkie . I like all sports but I prefer basketball. 3.)The Mogul Girl : So you're a T-Mobile representative. What have you learned from being apart of the T-Mobile team ? Kevin: T-Mobile has helped me in many different ways. First, I would have to say it taught me to be responsible and develop personal relationships. T-Mobile has taught me how to consider myself my own business and promote myself. 4.)The Mogul Girl: Do you have a favorite phone? Kevin: I stick with the iPhone because I’m used to it. Ive used Android and iPhone but once I got used to Facetime and iMessage I never wanted to leave team iPhone. 5.) The Mogul Girl: You're also interested in music. Tell me a little about that? Kevin : I’ve always had a high interest in music. Ive been rapping since 12 years old with kids around the block. I always just enjoyed doing it for fun. I never really thought about taking it serious. My friends always told me to pursue music as a career especially if its what I love to do. I recently just started recording new singles . Growing up in Philly I always idolized Cassidy for his freestyle raps and world wide rap battling. I guess you can say he motivated me to make music. I am a fan of what rap used to be, hard punch lines, metaphors, and back to back bars. 6.)The Mogul Girl : Do you have a all time favorite song? Kevin : There's too much good music out there to choose just one song, but I would say my favorite artist is Philly's own Meek Mill. 7.) The Mogul Girl : Where can people hear your music? Kevin : Souncloud.com/icedcoffeekev Dedicated Records Instagram @icedcoffeekev Personal Instagram @iced_coffee_kev Facebook : Kevin Boyce 8.) The Mogul Girl : Describe your fashion style? Kevin : In the past most would say I dressed very unique. I used to wear flashy/colorful clothing. As I got older I decided to tone it down and stick with dark colors, mostly black. I just feel like the colors were a lot and it was time for a change based on my maturity and age. Keep in mind though I always matched even when I was wearing crazy colored clothes. I was always complemented regardless of what I was wearing because I always pulled the look off. 9)The Mogul Girl : Is there anything special you want The Mogul Minute readers to know about you? Kevin : I want them to know that in my spare time / free time I like to write raps/make or record music. When I am not doing those things I enjoy spending time with my family and friends catching up and going out to eat. Yes, I love my food! I am a huge fan of sports games mainly NBA 2k15. I have a huge love for watches. There was a time I had about 50 different watches. I love fashion and have a crazy love for sneakers especially Nike Dunks or better known as Jordan 1s. Last but not least I have a huge love for cars and currently I am whipping around a 2015 Chevy Camaro. 10.) The Mogul Girl : You're into cars. What's your all time favorite? Kevin : My all time favorite car would have to be the Rolls Royce. I am a huge luxury car type of guy. Even though I now have the American Muscle I like the luxury better. I had a Cadillac before with all the bells and whistles and all the extras. Nothing was like that car. I just love the size of the Rolls Royce and that expensive look it has. That’s my dream car and I would love to one day say I have a rolls royce. When that car pulls up I just think of a business man or a hard worker and that is what I represent and what I am all about.Yea it would be the Rolls Royce! 11.) The Mogul Girl : At the end of the day. What's one word that describes you completely? Kevin : The one word that describes me completely would have to be DEDICATED. I choose dedicated because everything I do I commit 100% to that thing. Whether it is who can rap the best or who puts the most time into their raps or even to something like who cleans the bathroom toilet the best or the most, I am dedicated to everything I do. I am dedicated to my job and give it my all every shift and try my hardest everyday I clock in. I am dedicated to my raps and take my time writing them and practicing my lyrics. I am dedicated to my home and family maintaining a safe and clean atmosphere for my family to live in. I dedicate myself to every task in life and just want to make sure I give my all in everything I do. I don’t want to ever look back and say I wish I could have done better or tried harder. I leave a very small amount of room for failure and excuses. I am very hard on myself and push hard for all of the things I want in this life , ii’s my job to work hard and get it. I believe anything you want you can get if you put your mind to it and work for it.Don’t ever let someone tell you that your dreams are stupid and you can never be somebody. Go out and prove them wrong. I am a dream chaser and support anyone who believes in their dream. I remember the first time I saw Allen Iverson play at the Spectrum in Philly. My whole family decided to go to the Sixers game. We were in the nose bleeds (laugh) but all I know is Allen Iverson was on the floor and he was doing his thing. Growing up A.I was everybody's favorite . Everywhere you went you saw A.I jerseys , kids imitating his moves, and folk even had his signature cornrow style . A.I "The Answer" has always and will always be an inspiration and a history making , dream catching, athlete that has motivated so many to never give up. On May 16, 2015 Allen is releasing the "Iverson Movie" on Showtime . You definitely don't want to miss it. So follow him on Instagram @TheOfficialAI3 and #IversonWatchParty so he'll know that you will be tuned in.
Tyrese is giving us all nothing but raw truth and pure honesty. His new record "SHAME" is so bona fide and real. If you ever have done something you are ashamed of you can relate to this song. Not only did he use his God given voice to bring forth this story but he also added the angelic, strong, and unforgettable voice of Jennifer Hudson. This song is hard hitting and it definitely will stir up some emotions. When I spoke to Tyrese in March for an interview I asked him "What was his message for his Love Circle" and he gave the perfect answer that identifies with this song so much. He said "My message to the Love Circle is very simple . Forgive faster, hug longer, forgive faster, kiss slower and any issue that you're having in your life between family, friends, and loved ones put the issues on the table and pick them apart an do any means necessary to not allow for unresolved issues to stop you from reconnecting with your family, friends, and loved ones more often because its arrogant to believe that the next seconds of life belong to you." Yes, we all know nothing is perfect but we have to be able to be comfortable in our own skin and bold enough in our own truth. In other words accept the situation at hand , deal with the issues, accept where we mess up our flaws , apologize, forgive, and elevate from there. This record is song is powerful. Stay tuned because Tyrese is releasing a musical short film for "SHAME" that will blow your mind. Purchase "SHAME" on iTunes now (Here) "Black Rose" his double album is on the way 7.7.2015.
Willow and Jaden Smith are truly enlightened and very conscious youth. They have taught us all many things through their style, interview answers, Instagram pictures, and most of all their music. These two have mastered the art of sharing their thoughts , emotions, and very important messages in their songs. In Willow's 2014 song "I Am Me" she expresses freedom, being yourself, not needing validation from the world, that she can't be stopped, to hold your head up high and that we should coexist with each other, love each other, be real and be yourself. On her EP "3" which features her brother Jaden and SZA she discusses chem trails, the government, all she wants is truth, the stars, our consciousness, comparing Jaden to Poseidon who is one of the twelve Olympian deities of the pantheon in Greek mythology, the Indigo children, unity, and being different. Willow and Jaden are truly intelligent for their age and we all could learn from them. Jaden has constantly spit very intriguing and interesting lines with his "rap and poetry" , he is for sure the coolest. It is important to them that they inspire the youth and to have the world listen to what they have to say. On Jaden song "Offering" he talks about how his dad is an inspiration to him and that he told him "To beat the system understand it first". Instead of the world judging Willow and Jaden, you should take the time to listen to these intellectual, creative, artistic , and free spirited individuals. I know there's definitely many more messages to come from The Gweelos. If you scroll through their Instagram you'll learn about energy, you'll see beautiful art, their sister/brother hood , and more. They also are representatives for MSFTS. You can learn more about that onwww.msftsrep.com . As guru and spiritual teacher Osho once said "Discover yourself, otherwise you have to depend on other people’s opinions who don’t know themselves". One things for sure Willow and Jaden have discovered themselves and they know that they are unique, special, and have a lot to share with the world as they grow and they definitely don't base their lives around the opinions of others. You can get Willows EP on Google Play (Here) . Remember the our youth are the future and their guidance is always needed. So don't be afraid to raise your consciousness, energy, and vibrations!
