Revolt TV and McDonald's teamed up to show love to local artist across the United States (Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Detroit, and Philadelphia) . In order for the artist to perform in their city they had to submit their work in a video to be chosen for this amazing opportunity. On June 23, 2015 The Local Love Tour stopped in Philly at the Theatre of The Living Arts (TLA) on South Street. The building was packed , DJ RL was cranking music for the crowd, and the good vibes of Philly love was definitely felt throughout the night. People were smiling for the Posey booth camera and enjoying the McDonald swag bag which contained Revolt TV T-shirts, McDonald's coupons and a McDonald's towel . The show was hosted by Philly's own Mina Say What and REVOLT TV host DJ Damage. Its so motivating and inspiring to see Damage do his thing and to know that his hard work in the city helped him to pursue dreams and be able to help the dreams of others. The show was live from beginning to end. Eno opened up the show with a cool performance. Aquil came to share his music with his supporters. Griffy brought Dakota Black and Melal out for a turned up set.Philly's own Freeway hit the stage and even brought out his artist Scholito. The crowd was vibing as Crowd Pleazers danced to music from Dj Swizzymack and Dj Tizz. The Local Love Tour was definitely going up on a Tuesday. Mont Brown and The Astronauts turned up the stage with Kevin One DR on the guitar as well as the rest of his band. Yes, I said band!! Mont Brown definitely kept the crowd focused. His band included a violin player, drummer, saxophonist, and multiple guitar players. Mont Brown also had his daughter and little bro touch the stage as well. After Damage took a group selfie for REVOLT TV with all the audience members PNB Rock, rocked out with performances of "On Fleek", " Oh Yeahh", and his Cosmic Kev freestyle. The ladies in the the TLA went crazy for him. The show ended with performances from Kur and Meek Mill's DreamChaser Records Omelly. As a McDonald's Mover and Shaker , I had a fun time at the show. I have anticipated the release of "Shame" the short film by Tyrese since our interview in March. The passion, imagery, and mirth that he expressed about the song and the short film was beyond intriguing and thought provoking. After he released the song and I purchased it on Google Play I couldn't stop listening to it ( addicted). Tyrese and Jennifer Hudson's voice in sync created an unforgettable perfect harmony. The lyrics of the song are so powerful and tangible. The "Vision Implementer " teamed up with director Paul Hunter and producer Denzel Washington to put together the visual for Shame. The vision that Tyrese implemented unveiled a strong message that is being watched and felt across the globe. "Shame" the short film is praiseworthy. Shame is a phenomenal record. Its a special song that will go down in history as a classic. There's no doubt about it that Tyrese's heart is true , he is standing bold in his truth, and he's bold with a sense of vision . "Black Rose" is a very personal album for Tyrese and the bottom line is that he is letting the world know his experience, because experience is your highest truth. Can you feel this record with your heart? I can. Can you feel it with your mind and spirit ? I can. The short film starring the glamorous Jennifer Hudson and Tyrese as husband and wife covers various real life situations such as cheating , love, drugs, a broken home, internal and external emotional damage, broken trust , loneliness, lust, shame, faith in God, jealousy, and anger. We have all felt ashamed at some point in our lives .Some of us have dealt with it meanwhile others are having a hard time accepting it. Tyrese said in his book " How To Get Out Of Your Own Way" The first step to becoming the master of your environment and getting out of your own way is to own up to the part you are playing in affecting your life. Sure there are external factors , but there are ways to fix them. You can break the negative cycle.
So indeed owning up to your shame and your mistakes can indeed help you unburden your problems, be forgiven , free yourself, change for the better , mend relationships , and stop the pain. In life we learn from mistakes, we learn from shame, we learn from pain, and we learn from each other. Tyrese every little bit of knowledge and self love that you gained put a rung on the latter that has brought you to a better place. Now you are the latter helping your Love Circle climb out of their shame and bloom."Black Rose" is available to pre-order (Here) and follow Twitter @Tyrese and Instagram @Tyrese I'm so excited for this album and can't wait to read "Black Rose" the book. Congratulations Tyrese! Thank you for being bold and falling in love with who you are and being true. Watch "Shame" the music video below. On June 12, 2015 50,000 Swifties filed the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour. The first of two sold out shows. There were tons of smiles, cute costumes, matching 1989 Taylor shirts, dancing and limitless screams and singing from her fans. Taylor put on an excellent show. She performed some of your 1989 favorites such as Blank Space, Bad Blood, New York, Clean, Style and of course her award winning iHeart Radio Song Of The Year "Shake It Off". Taylor also had multiple positive messages for her audience. She informed us all that "You are not going nowhere just because you haven't gotten there yet " and how important it is to not give up on your dreams.
Taylor had beautiful costume and set changes. Her stage added such a cool feature to her show. It turned 360 degrees and brought her super close to her fans. She also shared videos of her cats and friends and even brought her girlfriends out on stage including a surprise performance of "Cool Kids" with Echosmith. Taylor always knows how to have a fun time. To add even more spice and flare to her 1989 Tour she joined forces with PixMob. PixMob produces wearable LED wireless technology that transforms objects into pixels. Everyone at Taylor's concert world wide received a PixMob wrist band upon entry to the show. I absolutely adore PixMob's products so I was super excited to wear one at the the concert. This special wristband designed specifically for Taylor changed multiple colors throughout the show . The audience was filled of array of purple, blue, orange, green, pink, and yellow. How cool is it that 2.5 million wristbands will be given to tour goers world wide via (Asia, USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia) ? The show started in Tokyo with 50,000 wristbands and is set to have 70,000 in her upcoming tour in Sydney. To enhance the crowds experience PixMob used two groups to program different effects in the crowd. The effects were amazing including shimmers, strobe, pulses with RGB colors ( in other words the wristbands can light up in as many colors as you could imagine). Taylor's 1989 Tour is a must see. The show runs until September so you'll have an opportunity to party with Taylor and PixMob. I wish I could party with Taylor and PixMob all the time. Taylor's 1989 album is currently available in stores and on iTunes . PixMob has so many big things in the works. You definitely want to stay tuned to what this phenomenal company is up to. They have worked in over 25 countries. They've also teamed up with 250 various shows before Taylor Swift's tour. So that's one million before the tour and four million after the tour. So if PixMob counts all their projects, five million people will have lived the PixMob experience. You can get tickets to Taylor Swift's 1989 Tour (here) and for more on PixMob visit www.pixmob.com . Also check out my interview with Commercial Director Jean Olivier Dalphond (Here) . Huge mogul shoutout to PixMob and all the wonderful members that have built such an amazing company ! Can't wait to see what's next. Taylor is a beautiful performer, and writer. She definitely shined bright in the middle of the PixMob Galaxy of lights. The show ended with breath taking fireworks over Lincoln Financial Field . If you adore your wristbands which I know you do there is an instructional video on how to change the batteries on YouTube (here) . Don't miss out on Taylor Swift and PixMob girls and guys!!! You have to live this experience. Become apart of the PixMob Galaxy ! Can you own up to your shame? Or will you let it linger and destroy you? Shame the new single from Tyrese featuring the beautiful Jennifer Hudson has stirred up heavy emotions and feelings world wide. This song carries a deep message that's straight to the point and makes you rethink some things you've done in your life. In my last interview with Tyrese he said "Well I feel like I have a message . My message comes through song. My message comes through hip hop. My message comes through writing this book. My message comes from what they're going to see in this musical short film that I did with Jennifer Hudson.Everything that I do from this point is about art". I agree! Tyrese is given us raw-unfiltered art! Remember art is something you feel, something that touches your soul, your heart, your mind , and your spirit. You can't help but feel the immense emotion, power, love and story that Tyrese is sharing. Tyrese Love Circle is extending , "Shame" is currently #2 on Billboard charts. "Shame The Musical" short film is directed by Paul Hunter , produced by Denzel Washington and stars Tyrese and Jennifer Hudson. This musical is going to shock you and move you. Its going to be intense! Can you handle it ? Watch the trailer below! The full short film releases June 23,2015 on www.shamethemovie.com .

Philly director and rapper Tre Prada high lights the seriousness of trust, chasing your dreams, and violence in his new video "Tension". The song touches on numerous topics such as multiple police killings, hate, not having a father around, being raised in a single parent home, the senseless acts of murder in the communities, and more . This is definitely an attention grabbing video that is a must see. Watch the video below and follow Tre Prada on Instagram
@TrePrada to stay tuned to his grind! This video carries a serious message. Watch who you trust, don't always tell your next move, stop the violence, and like Lil B told me in an interview " one person doesn't have to lose for you to win". Think before you act people, violence isn't the answer and things will get better! |
