Wins & Losses the latest album from Meek Mill peaked #3 on the Billboard Charts. His song "Fall Thru" is produced by G Koop and IBeatz . The video shot by Spike Jordan just released. This 4:22 visual shows an affectionate side of the Philly rapper. The video features fashion designer Latoia Fitzgerald as the leading lady. When the album dropped in July, this track instantly became a favorite of mine. The visuals to Meek Mill's 1942 Powerhouse performance is also available to watch . Make sure you continue to support the DreamChasers and Meek Mill .

Meek Mill is still incarcerated and awaiting a new bail hearing date. So many celebrities have come out to support Meek including Rev. Al Sharpton , Jay Z , T.I, and Colin Kaepernick . Jay Z posted this "The sentence handed down by the Judge -- against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer -- is unjust and heavy handed. We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career". The city of Philadelphia is standing up for Meek all the way so we are waiting for his release and him to get back to his family and music.. #Dreamchasers . His case is also shedding light on the unjust justice system and mass incarceration .

I recently, visited the New Jersey aquarium . As I stood in front of the shark tank I admired the sharks how they moved so freely yet with purpose and ease. It made me think of Daymond John and the of Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Kevin O' Leary, and Daymond John. My mind drifted to how precise each of them move when making business decisions. Top shark , Daymond John is fully living in his purpose.and wants you to do the same. His new track "WAVE" is produced by The ClassMatez . Daymond is seeking to motivate you to open businesses and make your dreams real. As he said " The time is now! If you need motivation to get going on that idea, project, or your goals, then here it is! I'm going to teach you how to ride the WAVE to success. Don't let anyone or anything stop you from achieving your goals".
Global Statics show that there are over 40.3 million men , women, and children who are victims of modern day slavery world wide. Two weeks ago footage from the slave trade in Libya went viral and has brought awareness to this atrocity. The widespread outrage from the world has caused officials and the United Nations to further investigate this criminal matter. There's footage of hundreds of people on boats stuck in the Mediterranean Sea. Thousands have died trying to escape and few rescue boats are being sent. The harsh reality that this slave trade is real and has been going on for years is not only heart breaking and mind boggling , but it leaves you in a place wondering how can you help ? Hearing these three words "I was sold" just brings about unexplainable emotion. The images that were seeing today look similar to pictures of the past. Your heart doesn't want to believe that what your seeing is actually happening.
In some cases parents sell children due to lack of financial stability. In other cases people are promised education, money, or a better life and none of it is true. Its all a ploy to capture more slaves and use them for labor, sex, drug mules, and other cruel reasons. Girls, women, and children are constantly sold , abused, and kept in terrible conditions . In some cases males are castrated and women are mutilated. Its overall sickening and unbelievable. European Countries are trying to block Libyan citizens from entering the country and are policing the waters. Those that are captured are detained in inhumane detention centers. The victims feel that if they leave Libya they can escape being beaten , raped, killed or sold again. This is no way for people to live. Families are torn apart . This is not fake, this is indeed very real. Forced labor , human trafficking , mass incarceration and forced marriages are all forms of slavery. It is reported that there are more female slaves than males and one in four victims are children. Although there are slaves all around the world, the statistics in Africa are the highest. You can find out more about the statistics on www.alliance87.org. You can help by continuing to raise awareness, donate, support relief efforts, pray and visit www.aidforafrica.org , www.who.int and Buzzfeed whom has listed more ways to help. This issue can not just get swept under the rug. Celebrities and people from across the globe have shared their thoughts about the slave trade on social media . Continue to research and share information that you come across. We can't forget about them. Some of the footage below is hard to watch, but its even harder for them to live through.
Take a step back ! Pause for a minute ! Look around at all the materialistic necessities we take for granted. For example our hot water, food, our cell phones, clothes, houses money, our toilet. Yes, our toilet! Could you imagine not having a toilet at all ? Where would you go to the bathroom ? What would you do ? How would you handle your business ? Studies show people spend more time on the toilet than exercising . Some of us spend more time talking or using our phones rather than going.
I recently became aware of "World Toilet Day" through Global Citizen ( November 19) . This date is an official United Nations international observance day that shines a light on the global sanitation crisis. Each year public education campaigns and events raise awareness about the issue. Half the world's population doesn't have access to clean , safe, or a working toilet. To ensure healthy communities and a clean environment, governments also need to prioritize safe toilet waste treatment - especially in cities where waste is a growing issue. Without waste treatment, poop ends up in drinking water . According to the World Health Organization 842, 000 people in low- and middle-income countries die as a result of inadequate water, sanitation, and hygiene each year, representing 58% of total diarrhoeal deaths. Poor sanitation is believed to be the main cause in some 280,000 of these deaths. Diarrhea remains a major killer but is largely preventable. Better water, sanitation, and hygiene could prevent the deaths of 361, 000 children aged under 5 years each year. The 1 million Puerto Ricans struggling to find clean water now share the experience of 2.1 billion individuals around the world who lack access to safe drinking water, according the World Health Organization’s latest report. On Water.Org the statistics show that every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease . Woman spend up to 6 hours every day walking to collecting water, and 1/3 of all schools lack sanitation. Imagine having to walk miles to a well to get water , and you have to walk miles to bring it home. Children have to leave school because of this problem. The water crisis is global , it affects everyone including India, Nigeria, Zimbawe, China, Egypt, Brazil ! Don't forget Flint Michigan residents still don't have clean water. For more info this crisis and how to help visit The Case Foundation . Not having water affects bathing , cooking , drinking, and going to the bathroom. These are necessities. I'm sure a lot of people purchased must have items on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but water is a must have ! All of these people in countries across the globe don't have the access to clean water this has to change or children, men , and women, will continue to lose their lives. These six inventions could help with clean water Life Straw, Ceramic Water Filters, Water Purifying Bicycle, Life Sack, Pure Water Bottle Filters With UV Rays, and the SolarBall. Find out more about them here and watch the videos . This is heart breaking , water is life , water is a right, water should not be an option when people need it to survive.

"I see the pain in your eyes
And truth is, only the strong survive And you still here, so from here you only gon' rise Spread them wings so they can tell you how far you gonna fly " Cardi B is telling her fans to not give up even through challenges. Cardi didn't have it easy growing up and she's not shy about it. She talks about her come up and how even though things get hard you can't quit. She didn't give up. She doesn't want you to either. "Bronx Season"
Not to mention, I did my tour and that shit was winnin' Independent, the headline, award of feelin' I thank the Lord every blessings that he is given I love the fans, they fill me up with their ammunition Cardi always takes time to thank her fans because they support her . She's BX at heart foreva . The beauty is proving people wrong. She's showing that despite her past you can make it . Some people took Cardi's music as a joke that she wasn't serious about it. However, she is and she's focusing on releasing her album and letting more people see her as an artist. "Everything"
Like I'm worried 'bout my father stop cab driving
Before he turn sixty, and my mom stop being a cashier before she fifty like That's why I'm working so hard out here That's why I go so hard Not for me, but for them though You feel me? If you watch Cardi's videos she always lets you know how much she loves her family. On this song she expresses how she wanted to make it so her parents didn't have to work and her sister Hennessy could go to school and follow her passions. She wants to do everything and keep going hard for her family. "Selfish"
Be selfish, be selfish, be selfish Withering away as I gaze at the sky looking at his face and all the pain it's caused me
I ask why Didn't I love Didn't I give you more than I ever gave myself What do you wish cause that part of me no longer exist This time I'm first, I'm picking me I finally learned to be selfish Cardi has a lot of popping songs, some for you to dance to , some to get you moving , and some you can vibe out to. This song "Selfish" is about not letting a guy take advantage of you, your emotions or time. Cardi is expressing sometimes you have to be selfish with yourself and put you first. Cardi is right!
You know Cardi B loves her nails on fleek ! So if Cardi B comes out with a nail polish line these are some of the names I thought of ! Big Ups to Cardi B ! Stay tuned for her album .

The Polaroid camera brand is a staple in picture taking for 80 years. The unique essence of a having one of their cameras brings about a nostalgic feeling. Growing up in the 90's a Polaroid camera was quite essential. I remember going with my mom to turn in the cameras and get the film developed. I remember the sounds of the camera clicks and the flash. While I'm writing this , the vibes of wanting to get another camera are definitely kicking in. Through out time , cameras have built superstars , captured models, pivotal moments in history , or fun moments like your birthday, or family reunions. Do you remember those hilarious off guard pics someone snapped of you and you didn't hear the sound, but saw the flash? I know that has happened to some of you too. I know I'm not the only one with funny pictures. Polaroid has released new cameras through out the years and they've recently launched "The New Originals Project" according to magazine.polaroidoriginals.com to celebrate the new Polaroid OneStep 2 camera. Ryan McGinley 25, is helping us discover the next generation of instant photographers. Ryan is the youngest artists to have a solo show at the Whitney Museum of American Art. “For me, the Polaroid format is what opened the door for my photography and creating relationships with the people I photographed,” he says. “With a Polaroid, the moments you have and connections you make with who you’re photographing can be even more impactful than the one shot you have. I chose each of these photographers because I believe they have the creative expression to capture their art and make connections in that one shot.” McGinley is curating a series of photographs from emerging photographers Hunter Abrams, Marcus Branch, Rochelle Brock, Myles Loftin, and Sabrina Santiago and Polaroid is gifting them a OneStep 2 Camera to capture photo. The new Polaroid Originals OneStep 2 is a new instant camera that’s the spiritual successor to the iconic Polaroid OneStep. Like the original camera, the OneStep 2 is a fully analog camera . It’s compatible with both 600 film and a new i-Type film. McGinley is curating a series of photographs from emerging photographers Hunter Abrams, Marcus Branch, Rochelle Brock, Myles Loftin, and Sabrina Santiago and Polaroid is gifting them a OneStep 2 Camera to capture photo. Check them out below . In an upcoming exhibition in New York City chosen New Originals will be featured. Also Polaroid will be releasing a limited edition zine featuring their work. For the chance to be featured alongside the work of our #NewOriginals, you can submit one of your own images and enter our competition by clicking here.

This year Meek Mill has accomplished numerous ventures. He's put in hard work and that can't be discredited no matter what. The Philly born artist has continued to inspire and motivate his city and the world through his music and his story. Recently he attended the 76ers game at the Wells Fargo Center and brought along youth from the Boys&Girls Club to enjoy the name . Meek has always found a way to give back during his busy career and still be there for his family and friends. In recent and shocking news on Monday (Nov. 6), Meek Mill was sentenced to two to four years for violating his probation in a nearly decade old case. It's ridiculous and people are speaking up about the injustice . There's an issue that Meek has been sentenced to more time then a police officer or a block watch captain that have harmed or killed an unarmed African-American. This news has stirred up so many people including celebrities such as Jay Z, Kevin Hart, T.I, and more. His lawyer Joe Tacopina told TMZ that "Judge Genese Brinkley is enamored with the rapper and crossed all conceivable lines." The question of both cases being dropped and still having to serve time just doesn't make any sense. A petition to Governor Tom Wolf has been started to show support for Meek Mill and get him out. The petition can be signed here . Despite this news this case can't knock his achievements this year. I released articles in 2015 and 2016 about Meek having a big year and here's five reasons 2017 is big for him too.
WINS AND LOSSES ALBUM
"Wins And Losses" is the third studio album from Meek Mill. The album charted #3 on The Billboard Charts. Meek told Elliot Wilson this album was a rap album and he was breaking down all the wins and losses. Sating the fact that even if it was a loss it was a lesson and winning is still on his side. This album featured Lil Uzi, Ty Dolla $ign , Chris Brown, August Alsina, Teyana Taylor and more. Meek addressed multiple topics on this album showing his growth and didn't hold back. He teamed up with a bunch of producers to help create the hot records on his project. He also did the promo shows with Tidal for the album his release. The Philly show was super lit. Seeing Meek hold that platinum plaque on stage for DWMTM was a happy moment. Get his album"Wins And Losses"
WINS AND LOSSES MOVIE
In a Power 99 interview Meek talked about teaming up with Philly's own Spike Jordan to create this film. He wanted to do something different to roll out the album. He also expressed he wants to start a production company for the youth to get involved in. Meek released multiple music videos for "Wins And Losses" as well as this film.
HE RECORDED OVER 200 SONGS
Meek told IHeart Radio he recorded over 200 songs this year. So even though we got an album and a few cuts on the Meekend Music releases he still has a lot of fire songs in the cut . The artist on his Dream Chasers Records label also signed YBS Skola and Omelly . So Meek has definitely been working.
RELEASED " ON TOUR WITH MEEK MILL"
This year he released "On Tour With Meek Mill" which lead up to his Meek And Friends Concert in Philadelphia. Meek brought out artist such as YG, DMX, Rick Ross, and more. He definitely rocked out and had a good time. The show showed the behind the scenes look at how members of his team handle different aspects of his business, how he wants to be understood , and how everything he does is for his son and family. MOTIVATION x 30
Meek Mill turned 30 May 6, 2017. At thirty Meek realized some things he needed to change in his life and he made them. He's not giving up and just like track 11 on the album he will never lose. Meek also spoke about the system at Van Jones "We Rise Tour" . As a man, a artist , and a human being ( let's not forget he's a person with real feelings with people that love him and care about him) he definitely needs our continuous support . So don't let the media discredit the motivation he provides or his dream chaser mindset.

From working in his teen years to building his brand FUBU to inspiring and giving life changing opportunities to entrepreneurs. You can learn a lot from Daymond and his message. He wants you to be inspired, increase your income, and make a difference in yourself and others. I remember having my first pair of Fubu boots in elementary school, they were denim and yellow. I liked them, they were different and comfortable.
Never did I think I'd be seeing the Fubu creator live in person at the Get Motivated Summit in my city, Philadelphia. To recently being selected to be apart of his Rise And Grind Ambassador program. Things really do come full circle. I plan to learn as much as I can and do more to follow my dreams. Daymond's success despite hardships it's motivating. His new book "Rise And Grind" releases January 23, 2017. New York Times bestselling author of The Power of Broke and "Shark" on ABC's hit show Shark Tank explores how grit, persistence, and good old fashioned hard work are the backbone of every successful business and individual, and inspires readers to Rise & Grind their way the top. It might be convenient to believe that you can short-cut your way to the top, but the truth is that if you want to get and stay ahead, you need to put in the work. You need to out-think, out-hustle, out-perform everyone around you. You've got to 'rise and grind' every day. In the anticipated follow-up to the bestselling The Power of Broke, Daymond takes an up-close look at the hard-charging routines and winning secrets of individuals who have risen to the challenges in their lives and grinded their way to the very tops of their fields. Along the way, he also reveals how grit and persistence both helped him overcome the obstacles he has faced in life, and ultimately fueled his success. Pre- order ( here) If you've signed up for Daymon John's emails , you've probably received this message about regret, Do you have any regrets? I get asked this question often and it’s an important one. My answer is yes. I do have one regret in my life and it’s never having served my country. It’s true – that is my one big regret. Regret can be a funny thing. Many people dwell heavily on their regrets and aren’t sure how to move forward. They are paralyzed by “what could have been” or “what should have been”. I’ve learned, though, to always channel those thoughts into actions. What can I do today? For me, it’s all about how I can serve, support and empower those I interact with daily – whether it’s on Shark Tank, in meetings, at conferences or on social media. I may have never served my country as a member of the military, but I focus on doing everything I can to serve the communities I touch, near and far, by spreading the power of entrepreneurship. Now, I know being on a TV show in no way puts me on the same level as someone who has put their life on the line to protect their country. I’d have to be crazy to make that kind of comparison! But, I’ve recognized the unique platform and opportunity I have to make a difference and do my part. Through my consulting, speaking, books and curriculums, I’ve made it my mission to share advice, tools and resources to help all the aspiring entrepreneurs out there achieve their goals. Sometimes life has a funny way of coming full circle, though. This summer, I teamed up with two organizations that do amazing work for veterans and active duty members, Bob Evans Farms and The Mission Continues. We kicked off the first ever Heroes to CEO’s contest and just this past month awarded 3 veteran entrepreneurs with a $25,000 grant. I also had the chance to sit down with each of them for a one-on- one mentoring session. I loved talking with these entrepreneurs. I think I learned just as much from these guys as they learned from me. They have unbelievable dedication and drive and they owe that to their time in the military. Why am I sharing this with you, though? Today, I get to spend my time mentoring up-and- coming entrepreneurs and even supporting those who have dedicated themselves to our country. I owe a lot of that to the fact that I have never let regret hold me back. I learn from it and channeled those thoughts into action. I may regret that I never served my country, but I have turned that regret into an opportunity to do my part and give back. As we head into November, I challenge you to take the time to acknowledge and learn from any regrets you may have. Let them drive you to rise and grind, to work harder than you did yesterday, and to support others along the way. Have a great rest of your week and as always, think big. DJ www.daymondjohn.com
