Tyrese Gibson is a powerful man and he's truly dedicated to change, positivity, the truth and living in his purpose and inspiring you to live in yours . Tyrese is not afraid to shed light on important issues and speaking on what God lays on his heart . The news of over 200 girls being kidnapped in Nigeria was and still is heart-breaking. Many took to social networking to express their emotion. Tyrese decided that his way of bringing awareness wouldn't be by holding up a sign but by actually doing something. On May 30,2014 Afrika Fifty6 and Tyrese Gibson held a red carpet benefit concert in LA which included an auction in which all proceeds were donated to The UNICEF . A lot celebrities were in attendance . Some performed and others donated pieces for the auction . The Iconic Stevie Wonder sent a very serious message to Nigeria before he performed. Watch it below. Follow @Tyrese on Twitter for updates . Tyrese said "we have to put a stop to human trafficking and that we have to let the world know that we have problem with stopping a little girl or little boy from being educated for political reasons" . Tyrese is also in full support of Prophet Walker. Prophet Walker is running state assembly in South central, Los Angeles. Please go out and vote tomorrow

I am deeply saddened that 234 girls were taken from their school in Nigeria and haven't been returned to their families and friends. My prayers go out to each and every girl and their loved ones . Social media has pushed the #BringBackOurGirls hashtag all over the internet and these girls cannot and will not be forgotten until they are back home. President Barack Obama , First Lady Michelle Obama and celebrities have also shown their support and expressed their emotions on this serious issue.
