  In 2002 Drumline directed by Charles Stone III got us all off our feet with their ATL flavored sounds of the saxaphone , drums, and trumpets. The story of a recent graduate "Devon" played by Nick Cannon and his challenge to not only succeed as a college student but as a new member of the marching band , and his crush on the beautiful Lailah played by Zoe Saldana was an immediate favorite. Well 12 years later Nick Cannon along with Leanord Roberts from the original Drumline with a few new faces are back for the VH1 original movie "Drumline : A New Beat". The new film is also starring singer/actress Letoya Luckett, Jasmine Burke , Alexander Shipp, Lisa Arrindell Anderson, Rome Flynn, Jackie Goldstone and many others.
