![]() "Somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for rights. And so just as I said, we aren't going to let dogs or water hoses turn us around. We aren't going to let any injunction turn us around. We are going on" - Dr.Martin Luther King Jr .The murder of eighteen year old Michael Brown has ignited Ferguson, Missouri to protest against this unjust, cruel, and despicable death of a teenager. Numerous reports have been released about this case . Its absolutely disgusting how the protesters are being treated. The rubber bullets, tear gas in residential neighborhoods, and threats to shoot reporters whom are trying to cover what's going on in Ferguson despite media being asked to leave. The violence between police and protesters is outrageous and sickening. Bloggers, citizens of Ferguson, and people whom have traveled to the area to record footage on their phone, take pictures, and record video and audio are continuing to make the world aware of this foul and horrific injustice. It is more than heart breaking , more than stomach turning to see the images and video of people being shot down or fired on in city in the United States in 2014. What is being done? When will this end? So many questions currently fill our heads. Michael Brown was headed to college and had a "life" his life was important as well as the many other people whom have been unjustly murdered by police. Dr.Martin Luther King said in his "A Time To Break Silence" speech that "A time comes when silence is betrayal". At this time people are speaking up and are not being silent. People from all over the world are watching and some are silently protesting in their cities and sharing it on the internet. Celebrities such as John Legend, Tyrese Gibson, Jadakiss, Talib Kweli, Keri Hilson, Larenz Tate and various others have all expressed their feelings about Michael Brown's death and the protests in Ferguson. J.Cole and his Dreamville members traveled to Ferguson , visited the area where Michael Brown was gunned down and spoke to Captain Ron Johnson about what is taking place in Ferguson. To all the reporters and bloggers whom are doing everything possible to share this news , thank you. To everyone whom is speaking out on this and not just letting this atrocity be swept under the rug, thank you. The multiple accounts of attacks and wrongful deaths by police is ridiculous and its time something is done about it. Remember the words Dr.Martin Luther King Jr, spoke. Remember that peace, justice, and love is needed in this world and we all must live that way in order for this world to be better. My condolences go out to Michael Brown's family and to any other family whom have lost someone to this act of violence. I am praying for Ferguson and I ask you to pray as well. There are good police that have done good things and have followed the rules of their job , don't judge them all together. In the words of Dr.Martin Luther King Jr "now its time to make justice a reality for all God's children".
