Deandra Originally Wanted To Be Involved In The Business As A Music Producer, CEO , Or DJ However Her Talents Have Taken Her To New Levels. In The Beginning She Wanted To Design For Sweet 16 Star Darnell Robinson But She Was Denied , However She Received Some Good Tips And Headed Back To Work. After A Few Months Of Practicing She Reached Out To Darnell Again And He Informed Her She Had Improved And He Wanted Her To Be His Personal Graphic Designer For His Company Rack Up Boy Music Group. 
    After Getting The Stamp Of Approval From Darnell Robinson , Deandra Has Designed For Bow Wow, Sammie, Romeo Miller, Dancing With The Stars /Music Artist Roshon , And Sammie To Name A Few. Here's  The Mogul Minute Interview With The Young Graphic Designer

1.What Motivated You To Start Designing?

I was very Inquisitive as a child. Always wanted to try new things, and learn new things. Seeing billboards and album covers of my favorite artists led me to thinking who designed those things. I did my research and I told myself I could do something like that one day. So it was basically a goal that I wanted to accomplish, and to this day I can say I did.


2.If There Is Anybody You Can Design For Who Would It Be And Why?

There are a lot of people in this industry that I’d like to work with, but to be specific I would definitely love to work with Diggy. Being that we are the same age, you know, I feel like his creative ideas combined with my artistic skills would be a really dope project.  


3. What Is Your Advice For Teenagers Everywhere?

    The first thing I would say to them is NEVER GIVE UP! At one point I wanted to give up, because I got tired of always being ignored, every single day, but your time will come, just be patient. Determination and patience got me to where I am today. If you work hard, and constantly work at bettering your craft everyday in whatever it is you may do, you’ll reach your goals, I promise you.

4.What Are You Currently Working On? 

    Well because of school I kind of took a break on doing major projects. Right now I’m just doing a few websites, but after the 22nd, I will be looking to get more projects and go full force with it.

5.Do You Want To Do Other Things Besides Graphics?

Definitely! I’ve always wanted to be a DJ because it’s something I’ve been around as a child. I have DJ’s in my family, so it was always a matter of wanting to know how to work turntables, so that’s deff. something I wouldn’t mind having a career in. Also, photography, I love taking photos!


6.What Have You Learned So Far In The Business?

    There’s always gon’ be two kinds of people that will enter into your life in this industry. You got the one’s who absolutely hate that you’re successful, and then you got the one’s that will support you all the way through. I’ve learned to just accept it, and keep doing me cause at the end of the day, when you look at it, you’re winning and they’re not.

7.Whats Your Biggest Dream?

My biggest dream is to have a new category added to an award show like the Grammy’s and be nominated for it as designer of the year haha. Also, I would like to have more than 1 album that I designed the cover for, in stores at the same time.


8.When You're Not Designing What Do You Like To Do?

I like to play basketball, surf the net, watch tv/movies, hangout with my friends/family. Basically I just chill, and have fun when I’m not working.


9.What Do You Want The World To Know About Deandra Turner?

Haha, hmmm, that I am afraid of animals. Dogs, cats, everything!
