Chris Brown truly is a winner Before I get into this documentary I just want to say if you missed his Party Tour , you missed a good time. I surprised my little cousin with tickets to his show in Philadelphia and it was lit as always. Now back to the documentary. I remember Riveting Entertainment announcing that Chris had a doc coming soon but a release date wasn't slated . I've been Team Breezy for a while . I remember running to the TV when "Run It" came on 106 & Park or dragging my dad to the mall to get the Chris Brown CD. Do you know how many times I played "Young Love" , " Ya Man Ain't Me" , "Winner", and "Poppin"? His music is just amazing and you can't take that away. As I sat in the theater watching his film , not only did Chris share his secrets, he talked about his drive, his love of his family, his love for music and wanting to do more in the world . Every article I've written about Chris I always wanted to focus on his creativity , his passion, his gifts as appose to bashing him like the rest of the media. I remember reading headlines about Chris and going but he just gave teens scholarships for Debbie Allen's dance school, he just gave away Christmas toys, he directed his own music video, he collaborated with Ron English, he has a label and his clothing line Black Pyramid is doing great . I'm like why is the media always saying negative things instead of positive despite that we are all human and we face hardships and regrets. I don't want to spoil the doc for those of you who haven't seen it . Some of the biggest celebrities were featured on the film and each of them discussed his down falls, his heavy work ethic, and despite many battles he over came and he's one of the greats. Chris Brown rolls out the welcome mat to his life and let's us all the way in. He discusses some very personal stories , deep pain, and hurtful memories. For once he tells his side. We know all the major news stories that released about Chris Brown and how many incidents affected his life in a major way. There's so many situations he speaks on in the doc and he wants to tell his truth of his journey and no you may not like it but he's telling his side. He also speaks on gong into a deep depression , the nasty jail conditions, and reading his bible. His mother and aunt also talked about how special he is and how much he's grown over the years. Chris has accomplished a lot at a young age but his greatest accomplishment is his daughter Royalty. He spoke about tattooing her face on his back because she always got his back and how much she has changed his life . The visuals of them together just makes you smile because its love and that can't be broken. Chris Brown wanted Team Breezy and people that don't like him to see who he is and what he feels. The documentary came from place of raw-truth. There's no boxing this man in! We all mess up sometimes but we learn from it and continue to grow even more. He let his pain make him fearless and decided that he was going to be the baddest on stage. If you missed it you have another opportunity to see it , Wednesday June 21, 2017 . A few years ago I tweeted Chris Brown about designing some Breezy Art Sneakers and not only did he favorite my tweet he also followed me. I don't know what happened but he currently only follows 1 person. So hopefully I'll just pray the day I get to interview Chris Brown I can get him to design some sneakers lol. Anyways go see this documentary and get a new understanding and a new look. There's points where you'll laugh, dance, cry, get upset, but when you walk out the theater just know that you've gotten a deeper view into the life of Christopher Maurice Brown not just Chris Brown the superstar , dancer, singer, songwriter, actor, director, designer but Chris the son, nephew, man, human being, father, and friend. You all know Chris directing skills are ill so I can't wait to see a real movie he directs , maybe we might get an animated series since Chris can draw and he loves cartoons. Heart Break On A Full Moon is his ninth album , and its on the way ! Get excited Team Breezy!
