  "Beyond The Lights" is absolutely stupendous! After seeing the private screening tonight I can officially say "Truth is the only ground to stand on " because this movie is the TRUTH and I stand by it . From the beginning to end , there's a beautiful magnetic pull that keeps you absorbed in the changing life of "Noni Jean" (GuGu Mbatha-Raw) and "Kaz" (Nate Parker) . Serious life issues such as self worth, self love , and repressed emotions were highlighted in the film and showed that its okay to need help and when the pressure gets tough you have to make a change for the better. "Beyond The Lights" also had cameos from your favorite celebs such as The Chairman and CEO of BET Ms.Debra Lee , Richard Colson Baker (MGK) , and many more. Gina Prince-Bythewood you are brilliant ! You wrote and directed another epic film that will inspire artist and dreamers everywhere! The cast was beautiful, majestic and embodied pizzazz. Danny Glover "Captain Nicol" , Minnie Driver "Macy Jean" , India Jean-Jaques (11 Yr Old Noni Jean) , GuGu Mbatha-Raw "Noni Jean " and Nate Parker "Kaz" all did a phenomenal job in this film.
