THE MOGUL MINUTE : URBAN REPUBLIC " KILLA CITY STATE OF MIND" MIXTAPE REVIEW ( THE MOGUL GIRL )

A few months ago I interviewed "Urban Republic" members Dewey Da Don and Novacain for The Mogul Minute. These two rappers released a project called "Killa City State Of Mind". The project is fascinating and gnarly. Both artist expressed their emotions on each track.

1. Urban Republic -" Killa City"- ft Shaka produced by LexiBanks
[ This track will definitely get you in your zone. Although this is a smooth track the lyrics are hard and definitely is a track you can vibe out to]

2. Urban Republic - Heavy Artillery -feat Fly D'antoni produced by LexiBanks
[ Urban Repubic shot a video for this track. This is a dope song. You can turn up to it. This record is tough and its booming. It's heavyyyyyyy]


3.Urban Republic - Distorted Portraits -produced by Scott Supreme
[ This is my favorite track on the mixtape. It's really heart felt. If you've ever felt like you were being boxed in and people didn't get your message. You'll love this track. It talks about the ups and downs of life and how sometimes it's just so hard . However you change and you realize that other people don't see you the way you see you. So all in all you have to be unapologetic and just be you. No matter how much people hate]

4.Urban Republic - Trillion
[Is a track for the ladies. The girls will definitely like this one. It's hot! The guys talk about how the chick they're talking to is the one and what they'll do for and to them. So ladies this is might be one you keep on repeat.]

5.Urban Republic - Blur- Feat Jr produced by Yung Exclusive
[ I can definitely see a video for this track. Its catchy and it just rides right through the speakers. They definitely rocked this track. It's a wild. I like this one a lot too. ]

6.Urban Republic -What You Know About It -produced by LexiBanks
[ Discusses pain . I definitely felt this track . We all deal with pain that not evening the ones closest to us know we are dealing with. This track they discuss fatherhood, hustling , having an incarcerated prison , baby mama drama, issues with life that others don't know about, foolish choices, and dealing with someone who cheated, and not being able to trust . This songs touches on a lot of subjects that the listeners can relate too.]

Urban Republic definitely have an independent grind and Killa City State of Mind. The mixtape should definitely be in your playlist . Urban Republic did their thing and the production is good and the features are dope.
