THE MOGUL MINUTE : USHER'S NEW LOOK FOUNDATION "DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION SUMMIT " IS INSPIRING HUNDREDS TO BE LEADERS

    Usher Raymond IV founded the New Look Foundation in 1999 to develop the Next Generation of Disruptivators! Over the weekend the New look Foundation brought together  300 youth leaders to take part in the Disruptive Innovation Summit! The 2-day summit  includes the Spark Tank Competition, motivational speakers ,networking opportunities, and various other fun and educational activities, performances & more. Young people from the ages of  17 to 24 years old that desire to use their "spark" to make a positive change in the world attended the summit presented by Imagine World, Atlanta Teen Magazine, and sponsored by WM Events, General Electric , AT&T , Ford and South West Air. Usher kicked off the conference.   The first panel  included  Disruptivators of the Internet including Jay Versace, Barry White Jr, and Vanessa Wilson. Other speakers included CEO Of Lava Records  Jason Flom, Political Educator - Popular Education Project Ciara Taylor, Executive director Hudson - Sean Pica, Education director, Anti-defamation league -   Erin Peachman , Mew look student, activist & politician - Mary Pact Hector, Author, Speaker & mentorship specialist  - Shawn Blanchard, Executive Director, Choose ATL & Founder, Kate's Club -  Kate Atwood, Singer, Songwriter & Actress - Starshell, Violinist, Composer & Inspirational Speaker - Eric Stanley , Founder, NYC Together - Dana Rachlin, Disruptivator Award Honoree - William Kamkwamba, FOUNDER, Partpic Jewel Burks, Founder, My Scholly app - Chris Gray,  Artistic Alchemist Brandan 'B-Mike' Odums, Founder, Love Beyond Walls -  Terence Lester , and  Disruptivator Award Honoree Drew Charter - Inven Team. The panels are going to be very informative and all attendees heard stories and speeches from various game changers and leaders. During the Spark Tank competion one attendee will walk away with a 5,000 dollar check to invest in their idea. Tony Beton Jr, served as the moderator for the summit. Global Ambassador Of Youth (Ushers New Look Motivational speaker 1/2 Urban Republic , CEO of Loudpack Productions Dewey Da Don also spoke attended the event.
     Although there will be tons of educational segments there will also be an opportunity for the youth to mix and mingle with 300 of their fellow Disruptivators at a networking party featuring Music, "Disruptive" Performances , the AT&T Dream Market & more. Performers are AYO & TEO , Cashae, Torion, and Jasmine Pollard. This 2 day event took place at SunTrust Park 755 Battery Avenue SE in Atlanta, GA . I think its amazing that the attendees received this opportunity and all the speakers cut out time in their schedules to offer their voice to the youth. The goal of this event is set out to connect passion, career & service and for each person to leave with a blueprint for living on purpose. During the summit the $5,000 funding check was awarded to Justina for her innovative idea, an organization that helps connect adopted people with their families via Ancestry DNA.  Overall this two day conference inspired the youth to be passionate about their ideas and innovate great things. Huge shoutout to everyone in attendance and the entire New Look staff!
