"The Autobiography" is the newest album from Roc Nation artist Vic Mensa. This morning Vic Mensa explained to The Breakfast Club that the name for this project came from him pulling no punches ,detailing his story ,being transparent, vulnerable and honest about things he's experienced so he can grow and learn from them. He also hopes that other people will have the courage and see it's okay to come to terms with their past. The 15 track album is strategically put together to be exhilarating , share wisdom, and translucently straight to the point. Vic's ability to mix rock and rap is just gorgeous. "The Autobiography" is a audio story book. His ability to paint pictures that you can see vividly is truly a gift. This project is very thought provoking, expressive, and artistic. Listening to the lyrics on this album opens you up to Vic Mensa's life and you get to hear more about whom he is and things he's gone through. He is vocal on so many issues and the system in his music and he isn't holding back about anything that's on his mind. "The Autobiography" Co-executive produced with Jay-Z and No I.D. is a must hear!
