Over the past couple weeks Meek has live streamed him in the studio sharing a few snippets , releasing Meekend Music I and II, a few music videos, followed by his singles "Whatever You Want" , "Glow Up" , and "Young Black America". So Meek was serving up some heat to hold us over until the official release date for his third album.
"Wins and Losses" the new album from Philly's own Meek Mill officially released at midnight on all music streaming services. The 17 track project takes us on a ride through the highs and lows Meek faced. The album starts off with a positive message from Eric Thomas the hip hop preacher , followed by Meek quoting Isaiah 54:17 . Whether he's discussing personal relationships, fame, the streets, losing people he loved , living lavish ,making it big from nothing, or just getting litty. You are tuned in word for word. This album is undoubtedly personal. He expresses on his song "Heavy Heart" how he's been hurt for multiple reasons and how it's still troublesome to him in a way . He also speaks on having serious trust issues. Yet and still Meek appreciates his DreamChasers family and his supporters that ride for him regardless. The death of his friend/lil bro and artist Lil Snupe and other friends he's lost to the streets still way heavy on his mind and heart and has greatly affected him . However, Meek still pushes towards greatness and doesn't forget them no matter what he achieves . You already know Meek is going to put out catchy fire songs and spill his feelings at the same time. He also is going to put some super lit tracks to get you turnt up whether you're home , in the club , or in the car . Meek also expresses that he's forever thankful for Rick Ross signing him and loves that he can take care of his family and that there's no better feeling than his son Papi speaking French to him . The album def has hot producers and dope features. All in all Meek Mill just wanted to release a real rap album and speak on everything that got him to where he is today. 1. “Wins & Losses” prod - Pampamitrou 2. “Heavy Heart” prod - Tarik Azzouz & StreetRunner 3. “F**k That Check Up” Feat.
