THE MOGUL MINUTE : AFRIKA FIFTY6 PRESENTS benefit concert for our girls of nigeria hosted by tyrese gibson
I am deeply saddened that 234 girls were taken from their school in Nigeria and haven't been returned to their families and friends. My prayers go out to each and every girl and their loved ones . Social media has pushed the #BringBackOurGirls hashtag all over the internet and these girls cannot and will not be forgotten until they are back home. President Barack Obama , First Lady Michelle Obama and celebrities have also shown their support and expressed their emotions on this serious issue. I'm so glad that Afrika Fifty 6 , Tyrese Gibson , and others are taking the stand and not letting this go unnoticed. On May 30, 2014 at 1 OAK In Los Angeles , there will be a red-carpet benefit concert presented by Afrika Fifty6. All funds raised will go to the United States Embassy in Nigeria to help aid the rescue of the missing girls. Here's a poem I wrote about the missing girls of Nigeria
"The Nigeria 234" By The Mogul Girl
Please bring our 234 girls back home.
You are queens we're praying for you, you're not alone.
Please be strong even if you're scared.
We send love. We really care.
You're beautiful and smart.
Forever in our hearts.
You are rich with knowledge and strength.
Don't give up , please fight.
We're praying for your safe return and God protects your life.
To the girls of Nigeria.
Put your heads up and remember your crowns.
Stand tall don't let them break you down.
To all of the girls of Nigeria you are beautiful and adored.
